Sepang 12 Hours
The final major endurance event of the year sees GT3 cars from around the world congregate in Malaysia for the Sepang 12 Hours. Also the final round of SRO’s inaugural Intercontinental GT Challenge for manufacturers – following the Bathurst 12 Hour and 24 Hours of Spa – Sepang will not only be a stern test of mental endurance but also of driver fitness, with temperatures rising well above 30°C and even higher still in the cockpit. With McLaren and BMW splitting the big enduro wins between them so far this year, will Audi be able to repeat their podium sweep from last year?

Monza Rally Show
When Valentino Rossi gets in a rally car, it’s usually spectacular. ‘The Doctor’ crashed out of his first World Rally in Wales in 2002 and tamed the fast roads of New Zealand with an excellent 11th place finish on his one and only attempt in 2006. However, it is in front of his adoring Italian fans at the Monza Rally Show where Rossi has been at his best on four wheels, taking his fourth win in the end-of-season event last year ahead of Hyundai WRC star Thierry Neuville and MX racer Tony Cairoli. Should he win for a fifth time this year, he would go above Rinaldo Capello on the all-time winners list – as if his status needed cementing any further.

Supercars Championship
The 2016 Supercars championship has been as thrilling as any that have gone before it, with all four manufacturers – Holden, Ford, Nissan and Volvo – each taking victories. Defending champion Mark Winterbottom has only won once all year and many expected five-time champ Jamie Whincup to run away with it, but new team-mate Shane van Gisbergen has made a smooth transition to life at Triple Eight, taking five wins from 21 races, only missing out on a first Bathurst 1000 win by 0.14s. Can the Kiwi get the job done, or will Whincup and Craig Lowndes elbow their way back into the equation?
