REBELLION Racing is set for the 8th round of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship, to be held at the International Circuit of Shanghai.
REBELLION Racing is looking forward to the 6 Hours of Shanghai as the Swiss team has always been successful with four LMP1 Privateer wins in the four editions of the race in the FIA WEC since 2012.REBELLION Racing secured their Fifth FIA WEC Endurance Trophy for LMP1 Teams after the recent 6 Hours of Fuji race and with their sixth class win of the season Alexandre Imperatori, Dominik Kraihamer and Mathéo Tuscher have won the 2016 LMP1 Privateer Drivers’ Trophy.The Swiss team achieved their targets for 2016 (including the LMP1 Privateer win at Le Mans 24 hours) but they will stay focused until the last lap of the last race of the season as they intend to add two more class wins in next Sunday’s 6 Hours of Shanghai and the 6 Hours of Bahrain in two weeks time.Since 2014 and the first outing at Spa-Francorchamps, the Rebellion R-One chassis has been the winning LMP1 Privateer car 18 times. With two more races to go for the Rebellion R-One LMP1 before heading to the museum the Swiss team would like to reach a total of 20 class wins.The 6 Hours of Shanghai race will start on Sunday 6th of November at 11h00 local time.
