GLASGOW star Richard Lawson has signed up for a third successive season at Ashfield in 2017.Lawson becomes the Tigers’ second signing and will in fact go into his fourth campaign alongside team-mate Aaron Summers, as the duo also rode for Redcar in 2014.Lawson said: “I love it at Glasgow - it'll be my third season next year and I'm looking to keep on improving. There's no other place I'd rather be. It's a great club and I'm excited to be back.“I don't like jumping around clubs and when I find somewhere I like, I want to stay there. It's a nice feeling that everything is familiar.“I think we need to win some more trophies and winning the league is a personal ambition of mine. I also want to get back to No.1 and keep hold of that all season, and just help the team out however I can.”

PETERBOROUGH chief Ged Rathbone has revealed the club's team building is going perfectly to plan. The Panthers are yet to confirm any signings for 2017 but Rathbone says that is expected later this month – with an improvement in their home form being a priority. He said: “I'm not in a position to give too much away at the moment, but I've seen plenty of speculation on the internet and it is safe to say there may well be one or two surprises.“We are working on a team capable of winning regularly at the East of England Showground while entertaining our fans, but we also still need to pick up points on the road.“There are two fewer places in the play-offs next year so consistency is going to be key as I expect the racing to be closer than ever.”
