WOLVERHAMPTON have completed their 2017 side with the signings of Adam Skornicki and Nathan Greaves.

Club legend Skornicki, 40, will make a dramatic return to Monmore Green on a re-assessed 7.22 average after almost three years away from the sport due to serious injury.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Greaves will be the only new face in a familiar Wolves side next season after being handed a path back into the top tier on a 2.26 average.

Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “Adam is almost like a lucky charm, a bit like Peter Karlsson. Whenever he’s in a team they tend to be successful.

“He’s very good for team spirit and very good for showmanship. Showmen are a dying breed in some ways, but he’s always entertaining and a huge favourite with our fans.

“We firmly believe that with the strength of the rest of the team there won’t be any pressure on Nathan and he can enjoy it.

“We need to try and light the blue touch paper with his career, because things have stalled a bit after he burst onto the scene as a big talent at 16. We need to get his career on the up again and believe we can do that.”
