GLASGOW co-promoter Stewart Dickson believes Sunday’s Ben Fund Bonanza will give fans their best-ever opening to a speedway season in the city.
The Tigers’ top four riders – Richard Lawson, Aaron Summers, Richie Worrall and Nike Lunna – are all taking part in the event which is expected to raise thousands for injured riders.
Dickson said: “The Ben Fund Bonanza is always a top sporting occasion - it's the first chance for fans to see the stars in action ahead of the new campaign.
“It's great to have an international field full of spectacular racers.
“I think home fans will have plenty to shout about - any one of the four Glasgow riders could take the title - but they'll face stiff competition, not least from past Grand Prix winner Chris Harris, who loves to wind it round the fence at our place.”

BELLE Vue have handed an SGB Premiership reprieve to Australian star Justin Sedgmen.
The former Swindon man now has a team place with the Aces having feared he would be frozen out of the league after missing out at Blunsdon this season.
Sedgmen said: “I honestly didn't think I’d be racing in the UK this year. For one reason or another I couldn't go back to Swindon, and as time wore on places in all the other teams were being filled.
“As we went into January I knew my work visa was running out. I’ve spent most of winter working with Mark Lemon and he contacted me to say there might be something for me at Belle Vue.
“To be in the new stadium working with him as my team manager, and working with guys like Craig [Cook] and Stevie [Worrall], as well as the new promotion, is an exciting and amazing opportunity.”

PLYMOUTH have named Devonian Richard Andrews as their new skipper for the forthcoming National League campaign.
Andrews has previously taken the role at Eastbourne and has impressed club bosses Mark Phillips and Laurence Rogers as they prepare for a new era at the St Boniface Arena.
Rogers said: “I think it will be a good move for him and for us as a club. He will look after the younger riders whilst Steve Boxall, Benji Compton and Lee Smart will be helping with the coaching of them as well.
“Mark and I have been discussing it for a while and Richie has shown us that he is committed to the club, and we think he will do a great job.”
