SWINDON have moved to bring Polish rider Tobiasz Musielak back to British Speedway.
23-year-old Musielak rode for Wolverhampton in 2015 and now joins the Robins on a 4.58 average as a replacement for Dany Gappmaier.
He will make his debut in their home clash with SGB Premiership leaders Belle Vue on Thursday, with the return fixture at the National Speedway Stadium 24 hours later.
Swindon boss Alun Rossiter said: “Tobiasz has a wealth of experience. He is past that under-21 stage now which always makes things complicated in Poland.
“Hopefully, these extra few meetings will give him a lift. I can see him dialling in and continuing the big improvements he has made.
“I feel sorry that we had to let Dany go but because of our away form, we haven’t been able to make a massive move. Unfortunately he copped it but took it very professionally and asked me to bear him in mind for guest bookings in the future.”

WOLVERHAMPTON closed to within one point of SGB Premiership leaders Belle Vue by defeating Rye House 50-41 at Monmore Green.
The home side established supremacy in the early stages but the Rockets remained in touch thanks to a strong showing at reserve from Stuart Robson.
A 5-1 in the last race would have been enough for the visitors to snatch a league point, but Jacob Thorssell took the flag ahead of Rye House duo Chris Harris and Scott Nicholls.
And the Rockets also have an injury concern over new signing Justin Sedgmen, who had nowhere to go when Wolves guest Ellis Perks fell in front of him on the first bend of Heat 14 and could not take part in the re-run.
Thorssell top-scored for the hosts with 12+1 whilst Sam Masters added 11 and Kyle Howarth 10+1, with Robson accumulating 11+1 from five rides for the visitors.
Thorssell said: “We’re really pleased. Rye House are a good team, especially here at Wolves. Ricky (Wells) did a few years here and Bomber (Chris Harris) is always fast, so we knew it wouldn’t be easy.
“We got a win which was the main thing, and there were some good performances. Everyone is going well at home at the moment, so we’re happy.”
Rockets boss Peter Schroeck said: “There were a lot more positives than negatives from tonight. If we were to come here in the play-offs and keep the score down to nine points going back to our place I would be well pleased.
“The fact that we lost here last time by 18 points also says a lot. While Wolverhampton is a super-tough place to come to, we made them sweat for a long time and I’m confident that we have a team that can go to other tracks and get the points we need to make the top four.”

KENT moved into the top six of the Travel Plus National League with a 49-41 win over Mildenhall at Central Park.
The Kings went ahead of the Fen Tigers by not only taking the three league points, but also preventing the visitors from coming away with one.
Guest Ben Morley went through the card with a 15-point maximum for the home side, combining with Jack Thomas for a 4-2 in the last race to end Mildenhall’s hopes of taking some reward for their efforts.
Connor Mountain top-scored with 12 for the Fen Tigers, who still have matches in hand over all of the clubs above them after only their second league defeat of the season.

THE Isle of Wight have announced the signing of Adam Portwood to fill the vacancy in their reserve berths.
Portwood, a former Peterborough mascot, was set to line up for King’s Lynn before the Young Stars withdrew from the National League, and he now joins the Warriors as a replacement for Tyler Govier.
Co-promoter Barry Bishop said: “Martin (Widman) and I would like to extend a welcome to Adam and we hope he can take some of the pressure off Jamie (Sealey).
“As a club, we continue to look at every option to ensure we have a strong run to the end of the season and improve on last year’s league position or the play-offs.
“We have several targets to achieve this year, both on and off the track, and it is vital that we achieve as many of them as possible.”
