PETERBOROUGH are giving fans the chance to be part of the action on Sunday at the SGB Championship Fours.
The annual extravaganza takes place at the East of England Arena on Sunday (2pm) and is expected to attract a bumper crowd.
Ahead of racing, representatives of each of the 10 participating clubs will randomly select a supporter from the crowd to join their team on parade.
The lucky fans will also get to watch two races from the centre green and experience the sport from a new perspective at arguably the most exciting track in the country.
"Speedway is nothing without the supporters," said Peterborough promoter Ged Rathbone. "This is our way of showing our appreciation to some of the fans who will be travelling from across the UK to watch the SGB Championship Fours."
Peterborough are also running competition on their official Facebook page - Peterborough Speedway Panthers - to select the music used during the parade ahead of each semi-final and final.
Fans can enter simply by placing a comment under the competition listing, stating their choice of music and the club they support.
The winner, to be chosen by Peterborough skipper Ulrich Ostergaard, will also get the chance to watch two races from the centre green.

SWINDON extended their SGB Premiership winning streak to nine matches with a 50-40 success at King’s Lynn on Wednesday.
The Robins’ latest victory came despite the loss of captain Jason Doyle, who crashed out in Heat 1 and was taken to hospital for foot and rib x-rays.
But with reserve Adam Ellis winning his first three rides and both Nick Morris and Tobiasz Musielak scoring heavily, the visitors were still able to overcome the new-look Stars.
Musielak and Morris both piled up 13+2 for the visitors as each took one of Doyle’s remaining rides, whilst Ellis carded 11. Kai Huckenbeck totalled 11 for the hosts.
Swindon boss Alun Rossiter said: “It was a great performance by the boys, especially after losing Doyley so early on.
“Full credit to all of them – everybody dug deep and did their job. It was a tight meeting, but we came on strong towards the end and it’s another massive four points for us.
“We’re really gelling at the moment. Things are looking good so long may it continue.”
Huckenbeck said: “It’s unfortunate we lost, but I think we all tried our best and you can’t ask much more.
“Swindon were just too strong for us. They’re a very good team and deserved to win, but maybe we’ll learn some things and do better next time.
“I hope we can improve with the new signings. I know all these guys and they’re good guys, so I think we’re going to stick together and do better over the rest of the season.”

SWINDON can reach the SGB Premiership summit tonight (Thursday) if they make it ten wins out of ten when they face Leicester at the Abbey Stadium.
The Robins’ incredible recent run has seen them move to within one point of leaders Belle Vue, with both sides having completed 18 of their 28 regular-season matches.
They won at King’s Lynn on Wednesday despite skipper Jason Doyle crashing out in Heat 1, and the Australian is now expected to be ruled out of the clash with the Lions.
Boss Alun Rossiter said: “I’d say he’s almost certainly going to be out for the rest of the week now, which is a blow.
“We’ll be searching around for the best guest possible, but I’d like to think we’ll still be able to come out on top at home.
“We’re high on confidence at the moment, and although we know we can’t be complacent in what could be a tricky meeting we’ll be aiming for another three points.”
Leicester will arrive at the Abbey with a patched-up side, with former Swindon riders Scott Nicholls and Rohan Tungate guesting for Kim Nilsson and Kyle Newman whilst Thomas Jorgensen takes the place of Danny King.

SGB Championship leaders Glasgow travel to Ipswich tonight (Thursday) in another big encounter at Foxhall.
The Witches, who are third in the table, lost by a point to Edinburgh last week which led to their attempt to make team changes prior to the July 31 deadline.
But those efforts proved unsuccessful and they therefore line up with their previous one-to-seven – and boss Ritchie Hawkins is keen to get back to the racing.
He said: “It has been an awful weekend for everyone involved, especially the riders. All we can do now is put it behind us, there is no point in looking at the past now. I have got to work even harder than before and get it right now, that is my job.
“We always had faith in the original seven and we wouldn’t have put it out there if we didn’t believe in it. I think with the advanced transfer deadline and the situation we were in, we had to do something but it was not possible.
“We have got to work hard to get things right with the team we have got rather than change now which is not a bad thing.”
Glasgow captain Aaron Summers said: “You've only got to look at what Edinburgh did down there the other day - there's no reason why we can't get something out that meeting.
“The riders affected by the failed changes maybe want to go out and prove a point but we'll just have to wait and see. Anything could happen - it might make them go out stronger and prove that they are worth keeping, or they might still be dwelling on it, so it could work both ways.
“We did reasonably well there last time, so I think the boys will know the setups, and hopefully we can push on more. We need to get more race wins too.”
Meanwhile fifth-placed Redcar take on bottom club Berwick at the Media Prima Arena.
The Bears trail the play-off places by eight points, although they do have a match in hand on Ipswich, and boss Jitendra Duffill says with the side now back at full-strength they will keep on chasing the top four.
Duffill said: “Berwick haven't had the best of times so far in this year’s SGB Championship but they are a different side to the one that started 2017 and they made life difficult for us last time we met.
“You can never underestimate anybody because you can end up looking very foolish if you do. We really need to take another three points from this fixture and we can't afford any more slip-ups at home.”

ISLE of Wight manager Jackie Vatcher is looking for her side to turn the tables on Buxton when they meet at Smallbrook tonight (Thursday).
The Hitmen romped to a massive 66-24 win at Hi-Edge in May – their only victory of the National League season so far – on a day when the Warriors were decimated by injury and unavailability.
Now Vatcher is keen to build on the momentum of a comfortable home win over Stoke last week as they look to climb the table.
She said: “Realistically this is a meeting we should be looking to win, and win well.
“After last week’s victory the boys are showing levels of confidence that we haven’t seen so far this season and this bodes well as we face the challenge of the Hitmen who have a strong spearhead in Matt Williamson and Max Clegg. It should be another action packed meeting for our holiday crowd to enjoy.”
Meanwhile Sheffield reserves Jan Graversen and Georgie Wood will both be in action as the club host a four team tournament at Owlerton.
They are joined in the Tiger Cubs side by Richard Hall and Layne Cupitt as the club fill a gap in their SGB Championship fixture list, racing against Belle Vue Colts, Coventry Select and a team from the Poultec Academy, managed by Olly Allen.
Former Tigers’ boss Eric Boocock will lead the home side, and admission has been slashed to just £10 for adults and £1 for kids.
Boocock said: “Obviously we’d like to win it, but the main thing is that we get some good racing for the fans to enjoy.
“I’m certain it will provide some exciting action from looking at the line-up. The racing won’t quite be as fast as the senior team, but that means it’ll be a lot closer and there will be a few more mistakes which will give passing opportunities.”
