In collaboration with three-time Total 24 Hours of Spa winner Marc Duez, SRO Motorsports Group will organise two track days on the eve of the race’s landmark 70th edition. Members of the public will have the chance to drive their own car on the spectacular Spa-Francorchamps circuit just days before the marquee race of the Blancpain GT Series season.
Anyone with an interest in motorsport will have dreamt of driving their own car on the same circuits used by their heroes. To celebrate the 70th edition of the Total 24 Hours of Spa, SRO Motorsports Group will provide a unique opportunity to do exactly that – and just days before the biggest GT race on the planet gets underway.
On Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 July, the public will be able to bring their own cars to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in the Belgian Ardennes. While the teams participating in the Total 24 Hours of Spa are setting up for the iconic race, a track day will be organised in collaboration with Marc Duez, three-time winner of the endurance classic.
Several programmes are available: the full Monday (9am-6pm) of track activity for 550 euro; Monday morning (9am-noon) for 300 euro; Monday afternoon (1pm-6pm) for 400 euro; or Tuesday morning (9am-noon) for 300 euro.
Never in the history of global endurance racing have fans have been able to get so close to the track on which their idols will compete only hours later, making this a truly not-to-be-missed opportunity.
To add further excitement to the Track Days, those looking to experience the thrill of a high-performance sports car driven by a professional will be able to take Racing Taxi laps. The available cars will include offerings from Porsche, Nissan and others.
And that’s not all. Anyone participating in this one-of-a-kind event will receive a free ticket for all practice sessions ahead of the 70th edition of the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the splendid official poster for the event, and a commemorative cap.
So what are you waiting for? Places are available on the official website total24hours.com. But be sure to hurry – they’re limited!
