Sandown Park Raceday Wednesday 19 September 2018
The autumn Charity Raceday at the iconic Jockey Club racecourse at Sandown Park is the social and fundraising highlight of the year for The Racehorse Sanctuary, it's great fun and more importantly provides an essential contribution to the funds needed to give ex-racehorses a second chance in life.
This year the raceday will be held on Wednesday 19 September 2018 and is once again sponsored by Max Patel of St James's Place Wealth Management. The Sanctuary owes a debt of gratitude to Max for her generous support, and the work put in by her team to make the event a success.
A day out at Sandown Park enjoying 'the sport of kings' will not disappoint and represents fantastic value for a colourful and exciting sporting occassion. Doors open at 11:00 am for a Champagne Reception, followed by a three-course Silver Service Lunch including half a bottle of wine per guest in the private Solario Suite, with panoramic views over the racecourse. In the afternoon there is a full programme of flat racing.
All this for an inclusive ticket prices of £95 per head - outstanding value for a day's entertainment of this quality.
To book your tickets please call Melanie on 07876 560670. Melanie will be able to take payment by Debit or Credit Card; there is no booking fee.

They can't all be winners - but they spend their lives trying - and deserve a second chance
Over 4000 horses leave the racing industry annually, but sadly, many of them face an uncertain future. The Racehorse Sanctuary provides a lifeline for such horses; as one of the leading organisations working in this field their work is vital to thoroughbred welfare as they have rehomed hundreds of horses since being established. They can't all be winners - but they spend their lives trying - and deserve a second chance
