A dog event like no other
A grand celebration of all things dog, Goodwoof is a new event dedicated to our canine companions. The May bank holiday will see dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds gather at Goodwood. Far from a typical dog show, Goodwoof will be a unique experience designed with what dogs love in mind.
Delivered with the boundless enthusiasm of dog lovers and presented in inimitable Goodwood style, Goodwoof will feature a fantastic line-up of activities to entertain dogs and their humans. From competitions and demonstrations (devised with the help of some of the country's leading canine experts) to walks, talks, wellness and play, the two days will be full of family-friendly fun. You don’t need to own a dog to attend Goodwoof; you only need to love everything about dogs.
Dogs in action
The main arena will host competitions and demonstrations featuring national champions and world-renowned specialists. There will also be the chance to try out the different disciplines and discover your dog's talents with have-a-go sessions in Agility, Flyball and CaniCross.
Happy, healthy dogs
With valuable insights into our pets’ needs and how to enhance their wellbeing, Goodwoof’s Wellness Centre will feature educational experiences with experts in both traditional and holistic practices, offering advice on health, nutrition, exercise, behaviour and more.
Dogs bring such joy to so many people that we wanted to create a totally different kind of event and one that really celebrates all that our canine friends bring to our lives; a real experience for everyone but most importantly for our dogs. I hope yours will bring you along! - The Duke of Richmond and Gordon
An exceptional family day out
Goodwoof will be a unique and memorable experience for the whole family to enjoy. As with all our events, every detail will be designed to delight. Our ultimate celebration of dogs will have something for everyone, whether it's the outdoor cinema featuring dog-themed favourites, the canine ‘chill out’ area or the 70 years of Snoopy pop-up. There will even be a ‘Barkitecture’ competition of awe-inspiring kennels created by great modern architects, with Kevin McCloud leading the panel of judges.
Barkitecture
At the centre of Goodwoof in the spirit of James Wyatt's building, will sit an inspirational collection of 21st century kennels, designed by the great and good of Architecture. The display will be contemporary, innovative, ambitious and entertaining and the subject of a grand charity auction after the event, at which guests can bid to own a barkitectural masterpiece, in aid of our chosen charity Canine Partners. The winning design in each category will be chosen by a prestigious panel of judges led by Kevin McCLoud MBE.
Dog Yoga at Goodwoof: Downward Dog for Human and Hound
Have you ever tried yoga with your dog? Now you have the chance, as we are delighted to announce that the UK and Europe’s leading dog yoga practitioner, Mahny Djahanguiri, will be joining us at Goodwoof, where she’ll showcase the benefits of practising the ancient art with our four-legged friends.
