FROM 12 TO 16 MARCH THE RED ARROW’S WINTER REGULARITY RACE FOR CLASSIC CARS RETURNS
Entries are open for the Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia 2025, returning to its usual winter position after the 2024 edition exceptionally held in May with the ambitious The Great Alpine Journey project, supporting communities in the macro-region bearing the same name.
In 2025 the Coppa delle Alpi will again be an exciting challenge in a demanding climatic context, combined with the unique mountain scenery that only the Alps can offer, under the aegis of the 1000 Miglia style. Awaiting the crews are 94 Time Trials and 8 Average Trials along a route of approximately 900 kilometres in three legs, crossing the borders of Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
The event will begin on Wednesday 12 March in the heart of Brescia, where the Technical and Administrative Checks will take place in the afternoon, followed by the 32 qualified crews competing in thrilling 1 vs 1 challenges valid for the Città di Brescia Trophy.
The race will officially begin on the following day: after the start in Brescia, the crews will reach Val Camonica and have lunch in Tirano. In the afternoon, the cars will ascend Valtellina to Bormio and Livigno, with the treat of the Time Trials on the snow on the Eira Pass. Taking the Munt la Schera tunnel, the event will enter Switzerland and end the first leg in St. Moritz. On Friday 14, the convoy will return to Italy through Val Müstair and arrive in Austria through the Reschen Pass. The town of Stams will host lunch, then the cars will drive down to Innsbruck and return to Italy via the Brenner Pass, to finish the leg in Brixen. The last day of the race will include the Gardena and Pordoi Passes and lunch in Baselga di Pinè. The final finish line will await the crews on the Tonale Pass, with the prize-giving ceremony in the splendid setting of the glacier at Capanna Presena. 7 guarantees of admission to the 1000 Miglia 2026 will be up for grabs.
Deadline for formalising entry is 4:00 pm on Friday 7 February 2025. Cars built up to 1990 will be accepted for the event and confirmation of acceptance will be announced by 14 February.
