Trident GP3 Sepang Sprint Review

Slowed down by a puncture, Antonio Fuoco was forced to an unscheduled pit-stop, but brought home the fastest lap of the race.Antonio Fuoco was forced to deal with a tyre issue from the very first part of his race 2 run at Sepang, after starting from the pole position. The 20-year-old Italian suffered from a slow puncture caused by contact with a kerb and had to serve an unscheduled pit-stop that put him out of contention.Once back on-track, Fuoco set a series of fast laps and once again confirmed the potential showcased by himself and the team over the weekend, then he came back to the pits and retired. Today’s DNF prevented Fuoco from defending second place in the championship. Giuliano Alesi delivered a flawless run to 13th place gaining three spots. Sandy Stuvik was also forced to come back to the pits but showed good pace and logged some highly-competitive laptimes. Last but not least, Artur Janosz finished 16th after starting from the pit-lane, a penalty assessed by the stewards following to a contact in Race 1.
