Get the kids on-track this October half term Daytona Junior Race School at Manchester, Milton Keynes, Tamworth and Esher 24 and 27 October, 8.30am-5.00pm

If you have an 8-15 year old who would like to learn new driving skills and perhaps even become a professional driver, look no further than Daytona's Junior Race School taking place this October half term.

Daytona's Junior Race School is running at a three of its nationwide venues on 24 October (Daytona Manchester, Tamworth, Sandown Park in Esher) from 8:30am to 5.00pm. Daytona Milton Keynes will run on 27 October. Students will learn on-track racing techniques in Daytona's superb Junior and Cadet karts under the strict guidance of a professional team of highly qualified instructors. They'll also get full safety guidance on and off track, coupled with classroom time where they'll learn race craft (use of flags, circuit rules and regulations, racing lines and overtaking techniques) as well as learning the mechanics of the karts.

Parents are welcome to stay at the circuit and watch their child develop new skills on and off track or alternatively, can leave their child and return at 4.30pm to watch the final races. Daytona's experienced instructors will take all Race School attendees through a series of training modules throughout the day.

All students that complete the day are Race School Graduates and can then go onto compete in Daytona's InKart Championships. which run all through the year.

DAYTONA JUNIOR RACE SCHOOL TIMETABLE:

0830 – Arrival & Registration

0900 – Introduction to Karting & Racing Lines

 Driver Welcome, Briefing & itinerary for the day 15 Minute assessment session Track Walk & Racing Line theory Racing lines – practical

1100 – Overtaking and Race Craft Overtaking theory – how and where to overtake Overtaking practical – instructor on circuit with drivers Racing conditions: Theory – race craft, use of flags Racing conditions: Practical – understanding & knowledge assessed

13:00 – Lunch Break (Lunch is included – please advise of any dietary requirements)

1400 – Overtaking and Race Craft (continued)

1500 – Final Assessment Final practical and theory test on everything learnt through the day. Individual race on the full GP track, giving drivers the chance to showcase their new skills

1630 – Podium Presentation Result of Race and Certificate presentation.

You can stay at the circuit to watch or you can leave your child under the supervision of our excellent team.
