Celebrating its 25th anniversary year, the British headquartered racing car manufacturer and constructor commemorates the occasion with a new and growing commercial and sales team present throughout the event
Salon Privé Blenheim Palace will take place from 31 August – 4 September 2022

As Salon Privé welcomes back the second edition of its ‘Live on the Drive’ Hill Sprint for 2022, Radical Motorsport is confirmed to attend, celebrating 25 years of success and showcasing its abilities and manufacturing quality on the lawns and the Hill throughout the (31 August – 4 September) event.

With its new and growing commercial and sales teams, Radical Motorsport will have a presence on the lawn and take to the Hill on Sunday 4 September 2022 to display the new SR10 and SR3 XX models.

Founded 25 years ago, in 1997, Radical Motorsport produces a range of purpose-built race and road sports cars, famously becoming the first company to create a bespoke powertrain system for a superbike-powered sports racer. Over the past 25 years, Radical Motorsport has continued to develop and innovate across the racing scene, with the introduction of new technologies and processes to its models, as well as providing a platform for racers to Race the World through its globally-recognised racing series’. As part of this, the company has also recently announced a Radical World Finals will be taking place later this year in Las Vegas. The five-day event in November will provide another perfect opportunity for the Radical community to get together and celebrate the company’s recent success.

Radical Motorsport shares the same passion for exhilarating motorsport experiences as Salon Privé, which is why Blenheim Palace is the perfect location to showcase its latest offering and discuss the brand-new (launched Summer 2022), Cockpit Safety Structure, available as an option on new SR10 and SR3 XX orders for the first time. The newly developed halo-inspired safety structure has three major benefits: to improve the safety of occupants, to maximise strength without adding any major weight changes (made from T45 high-strength stainless steel alloy), and to minimise aerodynamic drag which improves fuel efficiency and overall performance.

Dan Redpath, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Radical Motorsport said: “2021 was a record year for the company and we are on track to deliver another highly successful year in 2022.  We can’t think of a better place to round off our 25th year in the UK than celebrate at Salon Privé’s impressive Blenheim Palace event. We are very much looking forward to showcasing our latest products to Salon Prive’s audience of motoring and motorsport afficionados.  Radical is about more than just the products though, and the growing Sales and Marketing team from the factory will be on the stand to introduce both the products and the unique and exhilarating Radical ownership experience throughout the event.”

Salon Privé Director David Bagley said: “2022 at Blenheim Palace is shaping up to be our best Salon Privé to-date. We are thrilled that Radical Motorsport will join us to celebrate 25 years of its British motorsport history, now operating globally through 33 dealers in 21 countries. Salon Privé celebrates the best of British, technology, and innovation, as well as preserving and honouring motoring history. Sunday’s Hill Sprint will be one to remember!”

Following a successful inaugural 2022 event in London, Salon Privé opened the season in style with the Salon Privé London event at Royal Hospital Chelsea in April. Blenheim Palace will mark Salon Privé’s 17th year, as it continues to grow and showcase a specially curated collection of luxury brands, offer world-class hospitality and display one of the finest gatherings of classic and supercars in the world. Held from Wednesday 31 August – Sunday 4 September 2022 on the South Lawn at Blenheim Palace, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill, the event is a celebration of luxury, automotive and innovation.
