Bespoke Rallies’ upcoming London to Dakar Enduro is a marathon automotive adventure in the vein of the Peking to Paris and Grand Prix of South America events. Certainly not for the faint-hearted, it is a 22-day test of man and machine that will be flagged away from the Brooklands Museum, Surrey on November 6, before heading down through France, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara and Mauritania and terminating in Dakar, Senegal on the 27th of the month. In addition to classes for vintage, classic, hatchback and 4x4 cars, there are no less than three specifically for motorcycles, to which 15 plucky bikers have already signed up. However, there is still room for a few more two-wheelers, so interested parties should head to the Bespoke Rallies website for further information without delay.
Said Bespoke Rallies Director John Brigden: “I’m always keen to attract newcomers to the popular classic rallies for which we are renowned. And, as this challenge seeks to echo the excitement of the original Paris Dakar rallies, which included classes for motorcycles, it was the perfect opportunity to involve them in one of our events for the first time.”
