Caterham Caribbean Cup marks the end of the 2023 Caterham motorsport calendar – taking place at Bushy Park, Barbados from 24th to 26th November 2023

2023 is shaping up to be an incredible year for Caterham Motorsport, with prior announcement of two European championship rounds and racing with the British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone

In recognition of its half-century anniversary and global racing community, Caterham has announced an end-of-season race weekend at Bushy Park, Barbados, next year.

Supported by the Barbados Tourist Marketing Inc, Caterham Caribbean Cup will take place from Friday 24th November to Sunday 26th November 2023 and is a non-championship event, welcoming anyone who races a Seven.

The first-of-its-kind race weekend from Caterham includes two 20-minute qualifying sessions, four 20-minute sprint races, two one-hour endurance races, as well as open pit lane testing.

Caterham Caribbean Cup is open to 270R, 310R and Caterham Seven Championship UK (CSCUK) specification vehicles to maintain a level playing field.

Bushy Park, a compact, twisting and technical circuit, is the perfect playground for a Seven and has previously hosted motor sporting royalty including Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and David Coulthard.

Being such a unique opportunity, spaces are limited to just 24 cars with priority given to existing competitors racing in Caterham championships. However, competitors have the option to either race on their own or share and race as a team of two.

The racing package starts from £3995 (inc. VAT), which is inclusive of return shipping of the car, customs, testing and entry for one car (one or two drivers).

Simon Lambert, Caterham’s Chief Motorsport and Technical Officer, said: “With our 50th anniversary just around the corner, 2023 is already shaping up to be one to remember for our motorsport community.

“Within the 2023 Caterham Motorsport calendar we’ve already announced our strongest line-up of races ever, incorporating two European championship rounds for CSCUK at Zandvoort and Portimao, as well as joining the British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone in September.

“Pulling the curtain down on the 2023 calendar, a season closer from sunny Barbados, is the perfect way to wrap up a significant year in our history.”
