McLaren Trophy Europe confirms ten round 2024 calendar

Supporting Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS
Championship will make its debut appearances in Italy

McLaren Trophy will continue to support CrowdStrike 24 hours of Spa and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS season finale in Barcelona
McLaren Automotive has confirmed the calendar for the second McLaren Trophy season, with a 10-round championship visiting five venues in four countries, once again supporting the hugely popular Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS.

Designed to put the emphasis on ambitious amateur (Bronze) drivers and to challenge pro-am partnerships, the McLaren Trophy made a successful debut at the Paul Ricard circuit in France last month. Open to drivers of the new 585PS Artura Trophy and the earlier 570S Trophy cars, next year’s grid will contain a greater number of the Artura Trophy cars.

Two events will take place in Italy, at Misano and the historic Monza circuit in May and September respectively. The first of these events will be followed by a prestigious slot on the bill of the CrowdStrike 24 hours of Spa for the second year in succession.

The championship will return to the Nürburgring in July and the 2024 season will conclude in Barcelona, coinciding with the final rounds of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS.

“With the 2023 season getting off to a great start at Paul Ricard, it’s great to be able to confirm next year’s calendar. The new Artura Trophy race car has been well-received by our customer teams and we expect to have many more of them on the grid for our second year, while welcoming back competitors with the existing 570S Trophy cars.

“We’re also looking forward to racing for the first time at Misano and Monza next year in addition to a return to the prestigious events at Spa-Francorchamps and Barcelona. But we also have many more rounds of an exciting 2023 season to enjoy.
