Relive the 2023 London Auction, which took place this September at the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace. The auction realized over £9.8 million in sales and broke a new world record at auction for all production E-Types with the 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8-Litre Roadster, which sold for a final price of £911,250.
The top sale of the event was the ex-Rubirosa 1953 Ferrari 166 MM/53 Spider, which brought in £2,531,250. The enticing disc-brake, iron-block 1962 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster and 1954 Ferrari 250 Europa significantly exceeded their pre-auction estimates, selling for £1,800,000 and £1,518,750, respectively.
