We have just built a new site for the Shere Hill Climb. It's a great local event which attracts an eclectic mix of interesting cars and this year raised over £20,000 for local charities.
We have taken part every year since the inaugural event in 2013 in the RACECAR Caterham and Lotus and can confirm it's a brilliantly chilled out day for petrolheads to see some very cool diverse machinery and have a fun run up the hill.
The event is limited to 135 cars and predictably is heavily oversubscribed - that said - entries for the 2017 event to be held on September 3rd - will be invited via the web site soon. Go to the site link and sign up to the e-newsletter to find out when entries are open.
Typcial entries range from a "Banksy" inspired Citroen 2CV, a Targa Florio Vintage Mercedes Benz GP car, Ferrari 250 SWB to the latest Supercars from Mclaren and Lamborghini and every other type of interesting vehicle in between.
We are already looking forward to this year's event - our Cosworth BDG 7 will be at Silverstone in the first week of January for an exploratory trackday after some mods by co-pilot - Joe @ BTB Exhausts
Web site has galleries of pictures from previous events as well as video footage to get you in the mood for next year's event.
