This weekend will see the first round of the British Superbike Championship, Hel Performance British Motostar Standard Class and a chance for the Case Moto Rapido Moto3 team to get back out on track with Thomas Strudwick at Donington Park.

Donington Park is a track that Thomas has been fortunate enough to have a fair amount of track time on which means that he is ready to get out on track, and back to work on the bike.

The planned race schedule will show Thomas on track during Friday’s practice sessions at 9:35-10:00 and 14:30-14:55. Saturday will include a Qualifying session at 9:00-9:30 and a race in the afternoon scheduled to start at 14:30. Sunday will have warm up at 09:52-10:00, Pit Lane walk at 11:30-12:20 and Race 2 at 14:55.

This is what Thomas had to say before round one:

“I had an absolutely brilliant start to the year in Pre-Season testing feeling comfortable on the bike and with the team which has given me a lot of confidence heading into round one! I can't wait to get back out on track in the UK and have some fun with the Case Moto Rapido Moto3 team!“

Case Moto Rapido Moto3 team manager, Iain Hopcroft added:

“I am so pleased with pre season testing, even though Thomas had never been to Cartagena, with a few adjustments we found the pace early on and left extremely confident, Thomas is a quick learner and the whole team welcomed his enthusiastic approach and professionalism. I can't wait to get to round one.”

With preseason testing going well Thomas and the team have high hopes for round one.
