After a successful Round one, this coming bank holiday weekend will see the second round of the Hel Performance British Motostar Standard Class at Thomas’ home round; Brands Hatch in kent. With a great start to the season shown at Donington Park Thomas is ready to continue his good form with the Case Moto Rapido Moto3 team.
With Brands Hatch showing three times in the 2017 season calendar; this April bank holiday round will be run on the shorter 1.2 mile Indy circuit over a 4 day weekend from Good Friday to Easter Monday. The circuit is Thomas’ home round and has been a successful circuit in previous years.
The planned race schedule will show Thomas on track during Friday's practice session at 14:00-14:25 and then on Saturday at 12:25-12:50 with qualifying taking place in the afternoon at 16:15-16:40. Sunday will start with a warm-up at 10:13-10:21 and then the first race of the weekend at 13:30. Easter Monday will have morning warm-up at 10:00-10:08, pitlane walk at 11:30-12:20 and the final race of the weekend in the afternoon at 14.55.
This is what Thomas had to say before round two:
“The season has started brilliantly with me feeling more comfortable every session I go out. I know I have the pace to run at the front, and I can’t wait to get out at Brands Hatch for my home round. The team is right behind me and we have a long season ahead to progress.“
Case Moto Rapido Moto3 team manager, Iain Hopcroft added:
“Really looking forward to seeing Thomas bring home another trophy at Brands, he has the ability to mix with the fast non-standard class guys too so let's rattle cages”
