The BRDC British Formula 3 Championship's 2021 calendar has been amended, and will now run from May to October, to help ensure that a full, 24-race schedule can run across eight meetings.
Britain's leading single-seater series will continue to run in tandem with the British GT Championship at seven of the eight meetings, despite the changes to the calendar.
Oulton Park's triple-header, originally scheduled for Easter, will now take place on 11/12 September, with Donington Park's second round moving to 16/17 October to accommodate the Cheshire circuit's switch.
Snetterton's round is the other to move, shifting to 7/8 August. No other dates have changed on the updated calendar, with the season set to launch on 22/23 May on the full Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.
The championship's two visits to Silverstone, the overseas fixture at Spa-Francorchamps, and the earlier summer round at Donington Park will all remain on the original dates as previously announced.
In the meantime, many of the championship's competitors will take to the virtual track in this year's recently announced British F3 iRacing Championship, which will run throughout February.
