Remarkable 2000 Rover MINI Cooper Sport at CCA Spring Sale

Desirable 1992 Peugeot 205 GTI
A unique 1958 Land Rover Series 2 Station Wagon
A low mileage 1986 Morgan 4/4 1600

The Spring Live Online Sale will showcase a significant number of examples, all of which will be offered on Friday 26th March 2021.

The catalogue is shaping up magnificently with several unrepeatable super examples, each with their own unique history. Classic Car Auctions will close their catalogue on Monday 15th March 2021.

This remarkable little 2000 Rover MINI Cooper Sport has covered just 117 miles from new! With just one former registered keeper, it has been with the vendor for the last 12 years and it has been dry stored all its life. The beautifully presented Mini is complete with all its manuals, logbook and both sets of keys as well as fresh fluids – a truly amazing find for Classic Car Auctions first sale of 2021.

Continuing with the great line up of cars going under the hammer this month is 1992 Peugeot 205 GTI. A simply stunning example of the classic 90s 'Hot' Hatch with celebrity provenance. This desirable Miami Blue GTI has appeared on Top Gear and was driven by ‘The Stig’ (Ben Collins) as well as also being featured in various magazines and appearing on Clarkson’s Car Years on BBC 2 in 2000.

Gary Dunne, CCA’s Sales Manager commented ““The standard of cars in this sale is exceptional once again. We are looking forward to bringing another superb catalogue of cars to the market as it closes on Monday 15th March. We are currently inviting our last entries to the sale – so don’t miss your chance to enter your car alongside this fantastic lot list!”

Confirmed for the sale is also this unique 1958 Land Rover Series 2 Station Wagon. This striking example has been retained by Land Rover themselves and is accompanied by a large history file, Heritage Certificate, original S2 owner’s manual (July 58, part no. 4215) and original promotional material. Classic Car Auctions understands the Chassis 002 is the oldest production Series 2 in existence and the Land Rover still retains its original prototype engine and its original Birmingham registration number 'YOG 306’.

Another lovely example presented in The Spring Live Online Auction is this low mileage 1986 Morgan 4/4 1600 . This rare and practical four-seater bodied, 4/4 1600 is powered by Ford's ubiquitous 1597cc CVH with a five-speed gearbox. This car is beautifully presented in Claret Red Metallic with Black leather and Tiger Wood veneers and has been previously owned for 10 years with a current mileage of 32,162.
